Random thought -
Way to stop film piracy:
Make cinemas silent, but supply wireless headphones (..?..) Not earphones obviously. Hygiene.
Then, there is no way for the "secret camera" to catch the sound. Pirate film without sound? No one wants that.
(Yes, customers will have to share/re-use headphones. Yes there is a risk they might steal them. There is also a hygiene risk. But then again how often do those seats get cleaned? And no you can't have an earphone jack for customers to use their own earphones as then of course sound would be directly hacked and even better on pirate films as it is now. May detract from social interaction during film, but then again if you talk to your friend, you won't be disturbing anyone else as they can turn their sound up!)
Could even have different dubs/languages like on the plane.
This has been a silly thought from yours truly.
Adios.
